Soapy Soaps + Comic-Con 2011!

Get your nerd on at Comic-Con in San Diego, the largest comic convention in the country.  Soapy Soaps will be there in full force with soaps, lip balms and lotion bars.

Come out this Friday to rub elbows with the stars of the comic world and take home some handmade soap.  Look for us in the Exhibit Hall.

Coming Soon - Flavored Lip Balm!

That's right! Per request, we just ordered all the necessary supplies to make 5 flavors of lip balm! Lip balms will continue in Soapy Soaps' tradition of all natural and vegetarian ingredients. Our lip balms will include shea or cocoa butter, vitamin E oil, coconut oil, beeswax and olive, almond or grapeseed oil.

Look for the flavors listed below in the next two weeks. If it goes well, look for many more flavors in the future! As always, we love feedback & suggestions!

Simply Chic Spring Craft Fair

A Good Review!

We received this note on our facebook page from Michelle Chiang, who ordered a batch of 'Signature Soaps' for her design business:

"As of today, all our first batch of business soaps are GONE! That's right, all 52 small bars and 6 sample size rounds. We had only picked them up on 1/15. Luckily, I already reodered and the new soaps are ready to go. I haven't been able to stop working since the New Year. I wouldn't say the soaps bring business, but they just break the ice instantly when I meet someone new. Even with people I have already known, they became more opened up. When people are relaxed and happy, it is easier for me to do business with them"

Soapy Soaps at TenderNight, Feb. 19, 2011

Soapy Soaps was invited by the lovely folks at the Tender to be a vendor at the upcoming San Francisco TenderNight meetup.

Come have a cocktail, chat with people from the neighborhood, and get your soap fix without paying for shipping!  I will have a few extra special soaps that aren't yet available on etsy.

Lotion Bars!

We have added a new item to our Soapy Soaps line up!  We are now making lotion bars to match the scents of our soaps.  We currently have a limited number of fragrances available, but more are coming soon!

The lotion bars come in two sizes: Small - 0.6oz and Large - 3.0oz.

The small size is perfect to toss in your purse or pocket and to use on the go, or as a tester to make sure you like it.  The larger bar is great for all-over use!  Rub it all over as you get out of the shower, for extra soft, moisturized skin.

Both sizes come packed in a reusable tin.  We will be offering refills at a discount so save those tins!

Custom Signature Business Soaps!

Soapy Soaps Los Angeles just finished these custom half-size bars of soaps for a local designer. We matched the 'swirl' color to her business cards, and added her favorite fragrance. The designer provided custom labels to be attached to each soap with her contact information. This designer is now giving out her signature soaps to potential clients to get more business!

Holiday Market Time!

Soapy Soaps will be at the ForageSF Underground market on Saturday, December 18th from 11:00am to 3:30pm. Come pick up those last minute, soapy, holiday gifts!
